Linen in Lithuania
Despite all the health benefits linen provide, in Lithuania use of linen is deeply respected and is part of folklore and everyday life. In ancient Lithuania flax was widely sung in mythology, songs and fairy tales, we even have gods for flax harvest and cultivation. Linen was used in special celebrations and rituals. Now it has its comeback and we are very honoured to represent this collection as an ode to our old traditions and wisdom.

Also linen is known for its longevity and if taken care properly will last you years. Lithuanian fields does not need a lot of water, which saves a lot of energy as farmers does not have to fertilise the growing process. Also linen does not require pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. And there are many more good eco-friendly reasons. It is a sustainable choice of fabric and is biodegradable.
