Walking the Spiral: A Journey Through Ariadne’s Labyrinth

Have you heard of Ariadne’s labyrinth?

In the old Greek myth, Ariadne helps Theseus escape a deadly maze by giving him a thread to find his way back out after slaying the Minotaur. She doesn’t just save his life - she becomes a symbol of love, wisdom, and the quiet power of knowing the way through the dark.

Now imagine walking into a real-life version of that story.

Hidden in the countryside of Sicily, Italy, there's a sculpture called Labirinto di Arianna, created in 1990 by artist Italo Lanfredini. It’s not your typical hedge maze. There are no wrong turns or tricks. Just one winding spiral that slowly pulls you inward.

The path begins with an arch resembling feminine genital form, and as you walk through, it’s meant to feel like being held, like stepping into a symbolic womb. At the center, there’s an olive tree - a nod to Greek mythology again, representing wisdom and peace.

What’s rare that it’s not about getting lost. It’s about going inward. Slowing down. Letting the story unfold around you-and maybe inside you too. At the heart of the Labyrinth of Ariadne is the idea that walking a labyrinth is also walking inward. It’s not just about finding the way out - it’s about getting lost enough to stop, to think, to really feel. In that stillness, something shifts.

It feels like one of those rare spots where art, myth, and nature just quietly come together.

Just like the Labirinto di Arianna, our pieces are designed to reflect more than what’s on the surface. We believe clothing can be a kind of personal labyrinth - a path inward, a way to express your story, your roots, your quiet power.

Each piece in our collection is created with intention, inspired by form, movement, and stories - made to feel like home on your skin, like something familiar but ancient. Clothing not just to wear, but to carry.

Let this story live with you.
